Thhis would allow for so many season changes to your decorating. I would wash the fabric first...washed linen looks beautiful! Maybe a more "patterend" linen, like one with tone-on-tone stripes, maybe a darker color. Also, I agree that you need to have one unexpected item in each room, and since you don't have any other animal print, maybe a pillow would do for you.
