What about Bob's??

Have y'all tried Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats?? Oh, they are so yummy!! The texture is different than rolled oats-a little nuttier...Let me tell you how I prepare mine.

Elise's Oatmeal

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, add 1 cup of Bob's steel cut oats.

Stir, then reduce heat{I like to add cinnamon here}.

Simmer for 20 minutes.

Spoon into a bowl, add a little half-n-half{or whipping cream!!}, brown sugar, and maple syrup.

Enjoy!!

*Some yummy add-in's would be chopped apples, chopped pecans or walnuts, different spices...just play around and see what you like!!

I was not paid for this, I just really love this oatmeal!! Consider it my PSA to y'all!!

Never heard of these, Elise...What grocery store do u get these from? I use the old Quaker Oats brand. I do love oatmeal but I am the only one in my house that will even eat this good stuff.

I have tried this stuff. Bryan used to eat it, but I thought it was terrible. It could be because he didn't add any of that yummy stuff to it. I'll have to try it again your way.
Thanks!

I haven't tried the oats yet but I use the corn bread mix, polenta and the flax meal!

Sounds DELISH! My favorite is to add a big scoop of frozen vanilla ice cream when it's piping hot of the stove and then try to eat the ice cream out before it melts! :)
So yummy.
Blessings! ;)
