Any K12-vers out there???

I'm happy to report that we survived a year in public school, but both Jackson and Lilly are both begging to be home schooled.  Of course, that could have to do more with staying home and playing.  ;)
Have any of you tried K12?  I would love to know the good, bad, and ugly.  Otherwise, please leave in the comments the curriculum that you tried and love.
Thanks so much!!
Elise

Send them to public school so my fellow teachers can have a paycheck ;) No, really... There are a lot of homeschool bloggers out there, I would research what they all use and make a list, see which one is used the most. I love teaching, and would love if I could do it from my home, but I also love to be paid :)

I don't know any info. about K12, but my only advice is to not let your kids make the big decisions in the house. You will always question the route you take in schooling because there are pros and cons to both, but make the one that is best for your family and one that works for you.

My friend will be starting their third year with k12. They live in Ohio. She has 4 kids grades 1-7. Her youngest is in public school. She will homeschool him after he finishes 1st. I think with so much if k12 being online she thought public school was best for her little one. What makes me jealous us that it is free, computers for each child, printer, books & supplies as well as a refund on their Internet.
