Dining room progress

Hey y'all!! We have progress in the dining room. Yay!! We(my husband) has one more coat to paint and trimming it out. So far I really love it!! I also found a table and two chairs at Goodwill. They will not look the same as they do now. The table is not the picnic table I envisioned, but at $25, I could not pass it up. It will be receiving a makeover very soon, as we have our Young Couples Fellowship coming over Saturday for a soup potluck.

After all of the painting is complete, and the spring and Halloween is gone, and it is Christmassed up, then you know I will share updated pics. Oh, and later today, in my spare time(yeah, right!!), I will show y'all my awesome Christmas stocking from the swap. You don't want to miss that goodness!!

When I first saw the paint color I thought it might be too dark (from your post below) BUT it really looks great! It did not look good in my home but I did not have your beautiful white wainscot for a wonderful contrast. I do love it Elise! It turned out really nice!

Oh, Elise!!!!!

I just love it! You chose a beautiful color!!!!
$25 for a table and 2 chairs??? Are you kidding me? Girl, I am just in awe of your shopping skills!
I can't wait to see what you do next!!!

Now, I'm off to finish the never-ending Christmas stockings that I decided to do, last minute, in the middle of painting, staining, painting, and more painting....

Blessings,
Julie

I love the color (the one I voted for YAY!) and I am totally digging the mismatched chairs! You know how we both have similar chippy blue/green chairs... you shoud paint all the mismatched ones white and and shabby them up like that too! My trick was just to spray paint them and they chipped on their own quickly... like I planned it all along!

Hi, again!
I left an edit at the end of my post and tried to correct my mistake. But, I STILL can't think of what we called those cards back then?!?!?
If there's anyone out there, as old as I am that could help me out...... maybe I could sleep, tonight! (I can't rest until I know trivial little things like that!!!)
Blessings,
Julie
