Praises, Potty talk, and name that play!!!

Y'all remember when I requested prayer for my brother-in-law, Jordan?? He had his right thyroid removed because they thought a growth on it might possibly be cancerous. Well, he found out on Monday that it was benign and was a result from his car wreck. Praise the Lord!! And thank you all so much for your prayers. Jordan will have to have surgery in a little while for a neck fusion and I'll keep y'all posted on that.

In other "news", this little turd has been trying me lately. I know, he looks all cute and innocent in this picture, but he's not. Fisher thinks he is two already and its so not cool. For instance, this morning I awoke to "Momma, Fisher took his diaper off again." Uh, yes, that was again. Thankfully this time it was only number one. Yeah, Monday it wasn't so pretty. Any ideas?? Did any of your little angels do this?? What to do?? I guess I'm going to have to find some big onesies to try to deter him. Grrr...did I mention that I so don't love to do laundry??

Another thing...just for fun. Can y'all name the play this line came from?? "Which way to the egress?"

Talk to you soon!!

Never heard that line... I'm so thankful Jordan is cancer free... As for Fisher, I would definately say buy onesies... What about those jammies that to top snaps onto the bottom?? CRAZY...

Wonderful news about your BIL!

I don't have kids but I have saved this tidbit of info for myself when we do have kids: put on footed pjs that zip up on backwards so the child can't get to the zipper and therefore can't get to their diaper either. Hope that made sense :o)

Oh - and I think you're suppose to cut the feet off the pajamas cuz I'm not sure how the footed part would work backwards :o)

Good news about your brother in law...Hope his surgery goes just as well.

Sorry about the potty problem...Lexi did the same thing but nothing worked for us...I just had to watch her better but she still would sneak around and get those off...she just hated diapers after she realized what they were for...she was adamanet about wearing panties...I thought I was going to be minus a child...lol...but finally all is well just tried my patience.
Good Luck anyway!

As far as the play...I remember my lit teacher talking about this play but I just don't remember who or the name was...

Happy New Years to you and your family, Elise...Hope 2010 brings you all that you desire!

Am new to your and I LOVE the crafty stuff! I had to laugh when I saw your diaper problem, I went thru that with both my girls...so I just bought a couple of big for them tee shirts and let them go with out them! The catch was they had to help clean anytime they were too late to make it to the bathroom! They were potty trained ina week! I think hes just letting you know hes ready for a big boy potty!
Good luck
