That is such a cute idea with the verse on the rock. I love it! One of my favorite verses is:
Philippians 4:8
Finally, sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.

Mine is also in Philippians. Chapter 4 verse 13 ~ I can do everything through HIM who gives me strength. It's been a perfect verse for this past year of our lives.

thanks for visting me!! Yes it is decorator fabric. I actually got it at "Jo Annes Fabrics" for 8.99 a yard. I had a hard time choosing what i wanted. Have a great day=)

I LOVE that verse! It was a verse that a lady had given my mom when I was in a horrible car accident at 16. It has been my fave ever since!!

Thank you for your sweet comment on my bathtub! :) I am not sure what year this house was built! That is something I am now interested in finding out! :)

Elise - My favorite set of verses right now are Psalm 119:1-8

But I will just quote verses 1-3.

How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart. They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.

I actually love that verse, amoung many many others, each season of our lives can carry so many favorites<>< We have been down a hard, but very blessed, road with a medical condition with one of our twins and this verse, as you can imagine, gives great comfort when thinking of your children!!!
God is soo GOOD!

Hi Elise, Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a little note. I have enjoyed my visit with you this morning. I love the idea of the scripture rock. Think I might have to do that myself. :) Over the years my scripture has changed, I think due to whatever is happening at that time in my life. But I always go back to Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding".

What a wonderful idea, and what a wonderful way to share God's love with others. One of my favorite verses is also in Jeremiah:
Ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me with
all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
This helps me to look for the good in every situation and to know that God is always there.
