Momma's Prims

Hey Y'all!!
I ordered some stuff from Kindra after seeing the things on her blog and in her etsy shop. I love it all!! She was so nice to work with and took my custom orders. I put the black-eyed susan plant stake in my chinese evergreen since I don't really have a flower garden outside. The star and name blocks don't have a home yet. I really would recommend going to check out Kindra's shop. Cute stuff in there...

See this mirror? I got it from Value Village for about $12. I will paint the frame and the mirror itself will get a coat of chalkboard paint and get put up in the schoolroom. I will post photos when it gets done. Assuming its in this school year!!

I am going to Amy's tomorrow night to craft and will try my best to put together a tassel tutorial. It should be fun and I'll be back with pictures!!
Talk to y'all later!!
Elise

I'm so glad you like your prims! I really enjoy making them and seeing them in others homes. :)

I can't wait to see the mirror tranformation! I don't think I've ever heard of that idea before.

I love chalk board paint-what a dream for crafters and us homeschoolers!! I just seen that they had colored chalk board paint at a craft store the other day-red, blue, purple-neat. I want to think of something to use it on and buy it when they have their teacher discounts (I'm thinking a box for each of my boys, like a flip lid or something to use for answers or spelling tests:O)I'll have to think on it more!

Thanks for the compliment on my bracelet! I absolutely love it and am not sure if I will put it in my shop or keep it! (I'm leaning toward keeping it!)

We use a mix of HS curriculum. I use LLATL with my (almost) 5th grader, Story of the World for World History, A Beka for Science, Math U See for Math. I use Explode the Code and Math U See for my (almost) kindergartner. I also have a fun Art program but I can't recall what it's called. What do you use?

I would LOVE to learn how to make tassels! Please post about that!:-) Lori
