Woo Hoo!! Sike...

My step-dad, who is also our real estate agent, called me today. He said the bank accepted our offer. Woo hoo!! was my reaction. My kids wondered why I was screaming. I told them we got the house. My mom was excited. My husband was more excited. Ring, ring. I answered the phone. "You need to sit down for this." said my step-dad. "What?" "They accepted the other offer. The agent called the wrong people." Well, I would say she did! That agent has been nothing if not idiotic the whole time. Between, not getting our offer the first time and lying and now this. I want to explode!! However, I know God's hand is in this and if this truly isn't the house He has for us then I don't want it. I will just keep saying that to myself...
Back to square one.
I will come back with a cute post next, I promise. I need to figure out how to use my scanner and I will post some fantabulous kid artwork.
Toodles!!

How can you get the wrong people??? What a terrible thing to do. Well it must of been a sign or something that it wasn't your house. Happy house hunting. I hope you find the house of your dreams soon!

This is a bummer but could be a silver lining also. We put a bid on a house we really wanted and the same thing happened - I was heart broken. Then we put a bid on the house we are in and the bank rejected it. I told my real estate lady to put the bid back through she shook her head and told me I was putting all my eggs in one basket but she put the bid in again and the bank accepted it (it was a repo) we got this beautful house for $50,000 less then they had posted. Back to the first house...If they would have not mess up our bid we wouldn't be in this wonderful house and within a years time they built hundreds and hundereds of houses around the house they messed the bid up on. WHAT a blessing from God the mix up ended up being!

I do hope your house hunting ends up having a happy ending...I have a good feeling it will.
Have a great weekend!

What in the world!!???
That is crazy!!
That's like Ed McMahan (sp) coming with the big Publisher's Clearing House check and ballons...and then after all the excitement... wrestling you to the floor to get that check back...and then ripping the ballons from your kiddos hands as he speeds off in his gettaway car!! Sheesh!!
Don't let Ed ruffle your feathered nest...you will find just the right one soon!! Your new home is waiting patiently for you...
"Be still..and know that I am God"

but i still think that was stinker of them!!
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog!! It makes me happy!!

Oh that had to be soo difficult:O( I'm so sorry about the house news, I hope things work out. When we bought our house we had lost an offer for a house that really upset me but then found the house that is now our home-I go by the others we looked at and am so happy how God placed us in this home, it's been virtually problem free and I can see just from the outside the others wouldn't have been-probably doesn't help at the time of getting the bad news but you are so right about God hand working in things!

PS-wanted to thank you again for your birthday bag idea, I just used it last night for a nieces party today! I just stenciled her name and flowers then added buttons though :O)

Oh no! That stinks. We also put an offer on a house that had some weird things happen and we didn't get it. Then we found our current place, and I knew it was where the Lord wanted us to be. I felt very calm and peaceful about the whole thing (well, except watching other potential buyers come and check out MY house)It will all work out, just hang in there!

Oh my goodness! What a huge high, then let-down! I'm sorry! That's terrible! Your future home is out there, and you'll find it when it's right! I know you know that. :o)

Oh, Elise.
I am just so very sorry. Home buying and selling is already so emotional -- no extra drama is needed. This truly was cruel.

You are so right, though, if God doesn't want you to have it then you don't want it. We. HAVE. BEEN. THERE!!!!!
I promise that HE makes it all better! What a blessing that you know this already!
Hugs,
Julie
