Uh huh, okay...

Um yeah, so we are not getting the house after all. How do you like them apples?? We are about 90% packed up with the exception of our master bedroom. There are boxes everywhere. Oh, and my Daddy just found out he has colon cancer. When it rains, it freakin' pours doesn't it?!?! At least I won another giveaway. Thank you Heidi!!

I am guessing you want details. I would. We were going with FHA. My husband has good credit, just not enough to go conventional without more money and a higher interest rate, etc. Funny, that lack of revolving credit should make your credit score go down as opposed to up. Apparently, FHA has a problem with the fact that the investor bought it just a month ago. He would have to hang onto the property until the end of November until trying to sell it to anyone having to go FHA.
We were thinking of trying a lease-purchase but we don't like the terms. What also sucks is that we just had an inspection done on the home and we had to have an appraisal per FHA. So we are out all that money now. Really freakin' sucky. Don't I sound so articulate right now?? You should have heard me last night. Anyhow. That's that. We keep a lookin'...And what? Unpacking?? That's what really stinks too, all my pretties are in ugly brown boxes. Sniff, sniff...

Elise- I am sooooo sorry! Here I was jealous that you won Heidi's giveaway (but very happy for you!) and you were having the worst day. Keep your chin up, Sweetie. There is a beautiful home just waiting for you to find it... You'll be in my prayers. Lori

Oh my goodness! I can't even believe that. (About your dad, the house, everything) Unreal.
I am happy you won Heidi's giveaway... But on all the other things I find myself just sitting here shaking my head. Ugh.
There just has to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm praying for you and your dad,
Robin~♥

First off, I am so sorry about your dad, I will keep him in my prayers... Second the house! I don't even know what to say, except... that is TERRIBLE, I have NEVER known anybody to have a smooth go at buying/selling..weird huh, the thing that always comes to mind is "ROLLERCOASTER" who knew it was such an up and down ride. I am very sorry for your heartache. ~Jen

Huge hugs! This is my fear, too! We are supposed to close in 15 days...and I am packing a thing here and a thing there, but scared that I will get my house 'torn apart' and not get the new place.

I read your later post about maybe a way to get it...I hope it works out.

It is so hard to be objective at times like that!
