Fireside in the Winter

I came home Tuesday after a long day of ballet and shopping{it takes a lot out of a girl, you know!! ;)} and my husband had built a fire for me. I was so excited that I lit the candles to take a picture for y'all. I feel like something is missing up above the mantle, but I really don't want to start randomly nailing holes. For now it will do. I wanted just a simple, serene winter look. I just love cozy, winter evenings, don't you??

I love it, Elise! So peaceful and cozy. Love a fire in the fireplace! And you are so cute with your candles. I know that your house must always smell wonderful. You have inspired me to start burning my candles.:) Lori

Your first package is in the mail!! Now if I could just find one more box... Lori

SHopping is hard work. Men never understand how tired we get as we shop our little tales off!!!
You have a keeper-I am wishing for a fire about now. It's a balmy 34 and raining.
